About me
Ashley Pryor (Geiger) is a collage artist and Associate Professor of Philosophy & Religious Studies and Honors affiliated faculty at The University of Toledo. Her collage work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and appears in Kolaj Magazine, The Raw Art Review, and Peat Smoke Journal, among other venues. Pryor holds a PhD in Philosophy from Penn State and specializes in continental philosophy, environmental thought, and contemplative practices. Her academic work integrates collage and visual literacy, bridging artistic practice with philosophical inquiry. As a community-engaged scholar, she teaches through the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program and works with underserved communities in Jamaica through International Samaritan. Her most recent work focuses on endangered farmlands in Northwest Ohio, where she resides on her homestead farm in Swanton, Ohio.
