About me
Caitlin Rhea is the Curator of Education and Public Programs at the Pensacola Museum of Art in Florida, where she offers engaging educational opportunities for visitors of all ages and is passionate about encouraging creative growth in the visual arts. She also works as an adjunct instructor for the University of West Florida, and is currently a doctoral student at Florida State University pursuing an Ed.D. in Art Education.
Rhea received an MFA in Sculpture from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2011, and a BFA in Ceramics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2006. Her current research explores effective, ethical uses of generative AI in secondary art classrooms through a professional learning pilot program for local art educators teaching in public schools.
