About me
Priti Haria, Associate Professor of Special Education, Stockton University, NJ Priti Haria received her Ph. D in Special Education from University of Delaware with focus on developing genre-specific reading and writing strategies to support school-age students’ comprehension and writing skills. She has several years of teaching and research experience in the education field in various settings (i.e., inclusive classroom, resource room, self-contained classroom) in the United States and India. Her research interests include: developing vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing instruction for diverse learners (includes culturally/linguistically/ability), visualization writing strategy, developing intricate pedagogical models to support school-age students’ writing skills, and research in interprofessional education (IPE) and collaboration.
