Gemini dijoRicardo Lopez-Leon is a Lead Researcher-Lecturer at the Design Sciences Center of the University of Aguascalientes, Mexico. He holds a Ph.D. in Art and Sciences for Design, specializing in applied aesthetics and semiotics, from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. As a Level 2 member of the National Researchers System at the National Council of Science and Technology, he teaches within the graphic design undergraduate program, the Master in Arts program, and the Sciences of the Anthropic Environment Ph.D. program. In addition to leading the Integral Design Studies research group, he serves on several editorial committees for international journals and is a global lecturer who participates in conferences worldwide. His work as an author in various international publications has focused primarily on research regarding Visual Literacy, Design Education, and Theory.
