About me
Mgr. Timotej Blažek, Ph.D. (*1989) is an art educator and theorist in the field of art education. Since 2022, he has been working at the National Institute of Education and Youth, focusing on research and development in the educational area of Art and Culture, particularly art education. In this role, he has been actively involved in reforming primary education in the field of visual arts at elementary schools. In addition, he serves as a subject didactics specialist in arts education at the Faculty of Education, Trnava University in Trnava (Slovakia), and as a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Education, University of Ostrava (Czech Republic). His research and publications focus on visual literacy, spatial creation, and primary education.
